This is so hard! Writing ad copy for a dating site profile makes one as nervous as a cat with a long tail in a room full of rocking chairs, but lets try.
Born and bred Saffer, resident in the UK for 7 years running a successful IT business, which probably is code for "I'm totally unemployable and won't last 30 minutes working for a boss!"
My few friends describe me as a real "old school gentleman", "well-travelled, well-read, highly intelligent", a "gentle, kind, generous and upbeat soul with a wicked sense of humour" but I suspect its mainly because I paid them!
Life is soo short, so my motto is "Carpe Diem" and my M.O. is to be happy, bubbly, optimistic and positive (but not HIV positive!) even if it takes cringe-worthy, corny juvenile humour to block out the sorrow and angst of modern day life.
I enjoy intelligent, witty banter, ranging from superficial exchanges to deeply philosophical debates, ideally with a glass of velvety Kanonkop Pinotage in hand whilst seated in front of a roaring fire and Oysten Sevag / Cafe Del Mar playing in the background...but if you want versatility and prefer Jack Daniels with Rammstein blasting from the speakers, sure, we can to that too!
