About me:
I’m from South Africa (slight accent remains) but am officially British, and I work for a development charity. I’m enthusiastic about the things I do, and I have an upbeat, positive approach to life and a good sense of humour. I’m thoughtful, sincere, and a bit old fashioned. I seem to be doing ok at “adulting”.
Random likes/ interests: scuba diving, travel, yoga, sunshine, wine tasting, sharks, reading, aquariums, nature walks, live music gigs, planting things, baking, xkcd, GoT, hibernating in winter, lists.
Fun things I did in 2018/19:
Trip to Cambodia, tour of Italy, trip to the Jurassic coast, Henley Regatta, Royal Ascot, Wimbledon tennis, Foo Fighters gig, Flight of the Conchords show, DIY course.
My 2019 to-do list (well the start of a list anyway):
Buy my own home, find a dog to borrow in the neighbourhood (yes this is a real thing), Polo in the Park, London summer events (we’re spoilt for choice!). Any suggestions?
General future to-do list (well, some future things anyway… in no particular order):
Travel to various diving locations, visit more of the UK (New Forest, Lake District, Whitby, York), visit Tuscany, attend a wine course, have dogs, kids, grow a vegetable patch, hike, horse riding.
